The umbrella organization Rainbow Families offers counseling sessions for all people from the LGBTQIA+ community who want to have children or live in a rainbow family. This also includes counseling sessions for the target group of men.

The topics can be diverse: Starting with the question of how to deal with the desire to have children. It continues with the very different ways that a man can put his desire to have children into practice. The variety of topics leads on to social security issues, care leave, registering the child in Switzerland, stepchild adoption, life as a rainbow family and much more.

We are a small group of men who have implemented their desire to have children in different ways and are happy to share their knowledge. The personal consultations are free of charge and take place on the premises of the Regenbogenhaus in Zurich or as video calls after individual appointments have been made.

We focus entirely on your needs and questions. Our consulting method builds on shared knowledge, everyone contributes their skills and we can rely on a broad network of those affected. We are those affected with our own experiences, but we are not trained professionals (such as lawyers). We discuss with you at eye level.
